Rodney Crowell and Tommy Emmanuel were on a tour bus somewhere in middle America when inspiration struck. They then enlisted one of Nashville's first-call singers, Lisa Stewart, who brought a playful melody and sharp lyrical sense. Together, they crafted a tongue-in-cheek love song full of charm and wit.
"King Size" is a vibrant American Roots project featuring 13 tracks over about 46 minutes, including songs like "Halfway to Memphis" and "Can I Take You With Me." The Nashville-based band blends roots-rock influences with soulful songwriting and dynamic musicianship.
Mike Henderson’s "Last Nite Live from the Bluebird" is a traditional blues live album recorded at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Café, capturing the energy and intimacy of his live guitar and vocal performances. The album cover art visually conveys the cozy, historic vibe of the venue where the recording took place, supporting the album's authentic blues roots.
A deeply soulful contemporary blues project showcasing his multi-instrumental talents across guitar, drums, bass, organ, and vocals. The album blends five original compositions co-written with Gary Nicholson and eight covers, all recorded with a live, unaltered sound free of pitch correction or AI enhancements. Produced by his father, Kevin McKendree, a celebrated blues pianist, the album features an outstanding group of musicians and captures a raw, authentic blues vibe that feels both traditional and fresh.
